【Take Note‼️】Anyone Who Visited Taiwan — Up to NT$8,000 in New Travel Rewards➕collab with Malaysia Airlines
If you’ve travelled to Taiwan in the past few years, here’s something worth knowing before planning your next trip.
Taiwan Tourism Administration has rolled out a new reward for repeat visitors, with eligible travellers getting a chance to receive up to NT$8,000 in travel incentives.
And that’s not the only update. Taiwan Tourism Administration is also teaming up with Malaysia Airlines, while this year’s MATTA Fair Kuala Lumpur has a whole Taiwan Pavilion for travellers to explore Taiwan travel ideas, products and activities all in one place.

Visited Taiwan Since 2023? Your Next Trip Could Come With Extra Rewards
Taiwan is giving repeat visitors another reason to come back.
Under the new “Return to Taiwan, Double the Luck” initiative, travellers who have entered Taiwan on or after 1 January 2023 may be eligible for a chance to receive NT$5,000 in stored-value spending credit when they return.

Planning the trip with family or friends? There’s more!
An accompanying traveller may also receive an additional NT$3,000 incentive, bringing the total benefit to as much as NT$8,000.
So if your first trip was mostly Taipei, this could be a good time to start looking at somewhere different for round two — whether that’s Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung or Taiwan’s east coast.
Just take note that the reward is not automatically guaranteed. Eligible repeat visitors have a chance to receive the NT$5,000 spending credit, subject to the programme’s mechanics.

Malaysia Airlines × Taiwan Tourism Administration Is Happening Too ✈️
Another big update for Malaysian travellers: Taiwan Tourism Administration and Malaysia Airlines are signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
This marks the first major collaboration between the two parties.
The partnership will focus on areas such as familiarisation trips, travel product development and joint marketing, with the aim of strengthening tourism connections between Malaysia and Taiwan.
For now, there has been no official announcement of new routes, extra flight frequencies or special airfares, so those details are still something to watch for.
What has been confirmed is that both sides will be working together on more Taiwan-related travel products and promotions for the Malaysian market.

A Whole Taiwan Pavilion to Slowly Explore at MATTA Fair
Already heading to MATTA Fair Kuala Lumpur? Taiwan has a dedicated pavilion this time, so you can take your time checking out Taiwan travel ideas in one area instead of hunting booth by booth.
The Taiwan Pavilion is located at Level 3, Booth 3J25, with tourism information and Taiwan travel products available throughout the three-day fair.
There are also a few things to do while you’re there.
Visitors can try the Taiwan-themed photo booth, join a Taiwan knowledge quiz, and catch an LED diabolo performance by Diabolo Walker, a group that has previously performed on a Cirque du Soleil stage.
Malaysian content creator Azim Othman, together with travel couple Alana and Abbas, will also be sharing their own Taiwan travel experiences.
So even if you haven’t decided where in Taiwan to go next, you can walk around the pavilion first, compare ideas and see what kind of trip suits you.
