Hands up, ramen lovers! Have you tried tsukemen? Tsukemen, which translates to “dipping ramen,” is a kind of Japanese ramen in which you will first dip the noodles in a broth before you eat it.  The reason for doing this is to balance the salty flavor of noodles and broth. Also, noodle is more firm and elastic this way. Haven’t tried it yet? Hope this list helps you! Let us visit 4 restaurants serving must-try tsukemen in Kuala Lumpur!

Mitsuyado specializes in serving first-class ramen.  They serve different kinds of Tsukemen but their Cheese Tsukemen is the most recommended one. At Menzo Japanese Ramen, dip your noodles in the red, black, and white broth. The red is the spicy broth, the black is the garlic flavor, and the white is the original taste of the broth. The usual partner of the noodles are egg, spring onion, bamboo shoot, and seaweed, then you just have to add a little for additional toppings, like corn, black fungus, or more noodles.
