1. Pulau Aur, Mersing Johor

An island located on the east coast of Johor which every diving enthusiast will surely love as it has abundant marine life and clear waters.

However, it will take you about four hours and a half when riding a boat from Mersing Jetty, but the place is worth the long travel, though.

2. Pulau Dayang

Situated in the western part of Johor, Pulau Dayang boasts of its clear sea water and absolutely beautiful seabed ecology no wonder that diving is the most famous activity here. One need to spend 4-5 hours of travel journey in order to get here.

 

3. Pulau Besar

But, if you don’t feel like traveling for a couple of hours (those 4-5 hours boat ride) before reaching an island, Pulau Besar is your perfect island match! Since it is only 13km from the port, you can be able to touch there down for only about an hour. Aside from the beautiful beach, it also has a mountain that you can climb with the gang!

4. Pulau Rawa

Located 16 kilometers from Mersing, Pulau Rawa prides itself for having an island covered with white sand beaches as its other side is home to vertical rocky cliffs. If you wish to spend some time here, Pulau Rawa has two main resorts where you can stay.

 

5. Pulau Tengah

An island which you can visit in less than an hour (45 minutes) as it is located just 16 kilometers from the port. This island is quite famous for it serves as Vietnamese refugee camp during the 1970s.

6. Pulau Pemanggil

7. Pulau Sibu

An island facing the South China Sea and composed by Sibu Besar Island, Sibu Tengah Island, Sibu Kukus Island and Sibu Hujung Island. Having an area of 6 kilometers long and 6 kilometers wide, Pulau Sibu has a rich natural ecology and beautiful beaches.

 

8. Pulau Tinggi Mersing
