Located about 9 km from the city center of Seremban Berembun Forest Reserve hides an Eco Resort, The Shorea. This close-to-nature resort is just an hour drive away from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The Shorea has a total of 8 villas and has about 15 rooms that can accommodate up to 40 guests. Just a bit of information, The Shorea is divided into two parts – The Shorea ESTATE and The Shorea RESORT.
The former division has a more modern villas having an air conditioning room and private pools while the latter is more natured-themed where you can enjoy the beauty of nature once you step outside the villas. These two different styles of villa has two large infinity pool facing the rainforest. On the other hand, there is only one junction point of the dining pavilion that provides guests and open dining areas.
In addition, The Shorea buildings use local natural ecological raw materials which includes recycled Shorea wood, slate and variety of natural stones. These help enhance the degree of integration in The Shorea rainforest.
The Shorea RESORT
Villa Shorea
Having a 2000-square-foot duplex cottage, Villa Shorea is a great spot to enjoy the magnificent views of the hills. Villa ground floor, living room, dining room, outdoor terrace have a direct access to the pool of channels, while there are two adjacent bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. One bedroom has a Queen-sized double bed and a single bed while the other room has a three single beds. Villa Shorea is very suitable for family or friends for it has a wide space and can accommodate up to 6 people.
Villa Shorea + Villa Halia (Corner Suite)
With a total of 350 square-foot, Villa Halia and Villa Shorea are connected together. This corner suite has a King-sized bed, private kitchenette, outdoor barbecue space, private dining areas and an outdoor jacuzzi. These two villas can accommodate up to 8 people. However Villa Halia is only available to Villa Shorea guests in order to maintain the privacy.
Villa Bougainvillea
Enjoy the view of trees and infinity pool at Villa Bougainvillea which has a total of 600 square feet. This type of villa is suitable for couples who want to enjoy a moment together or for up to three adult and a child. It has a King-sized bed, sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchenette and a private outdoor balcony.
Villa Kemboja
Located atop the woods, Villa Kemboja has a square feet of 400 which is suitable for people who needs extreme level of privacy yet also want to enjoy the nature’s beauty. It has a King-sized bed, private kitchenette, barbecue space and a balcony. Extra beddings can be requested.

Rafflesia Duplex Pool Suite
Best for family, Rafflesia Duplex Pool Suite has an air-conditioned bedroom, airy bedroom and attic as well as family room. The air conditioned bedroom has a King-sized bed while the other room has a ventilated bedroom with a canopy and a King-sized double bed and a single bed. As for the room upstairs, family room, three single bed is provided. Raflessia Duplex Pool Suite can accommodate up to eight pax (adults); very spacious for a group of friends or family gatherings.
Dahlia Duplex Garden Villa
Dahlia Studio Villa is located atop the Rafflesia Duplex Pool Suite. It has a King-sized canopy, a double bedroom and a family airy private balcony facing the wood. Perfect spot for unwinding and savouring the beauteous of the place. This villa can accommodate a total of 12 people.
Begonia Duplex Pool Suite
Begonia Duplex Pool is a double air-conditioned villas divided into Sky Villa and Pool Villa. The former is located on top floor of the villa, having an air-conditioned bedroom with a canopy of King-sized bed and a spacious bathroom. It also has an open and airy balcony which is overlooking the entire landscape of woods. The latter on the other hand is situated on the ground floor which also has an air-conditioned bedroom with a King-sized bed and a spacious bathroom. There is also a private pool and cabanas.
Cassia Duplex Pool Suite
Being built on top of the woods, Cassia Duplex Pool Suite is also divided into two parts – Studio Villa and Pool Villa. The first division has an air-conditioned bedroom with a canopy of a King-sized bed and spacious bathroom. Its private balcony will let you enjoy the full view of the house and woods.
The second division, Pool Villa, is composed of two bedrooms and a bathroom, an outdoor pool and a private dining room for guests to enjoy the scenery.
