The experience is set inside a ‘Bothy’ as a nod to the one where founder, George Smith, first honed his craft in. The Glenlivet Bothy brings together time-honored heritage with contemporary whisky exploration in an enchanting whisky wonderland. This bothy is a heaven for whisky enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike, preparing to embark on a captivating journey through the past, present and future of The Glenlivet.
To start with, you can unravel The Glenlivet’s history and be transported back in time to the distillery beginning in 1822. Through this journey, you can discover the great story of the founder of The Glenlivet, George Smith and how he turned The Glenlivet distillery into the first officially licensed distillery and the stories afterward.
The Glenlivet Odyssey will enrich your whisky knowledge as you delve into its captivating history as well.You will have the opportunity to know the production process of creating “uisge beatha” (water of life), as known as Scotch whisky today.
Of course, you wouldn’t want to miss the most important part in this unprecedented bothy, which is the chance to sample the iconic The Glenlivet 12 Year Old alongside the new limited-edition The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Licensed Dram and an exclusive The Glenlivet Cocktail Capsule crafted by the team at Rakh. This tasting flight is part of the full Bothy experience, which is available for just RM88 from the Official Pernod Ricard Malaysia Shopee Store.
